I just encountered a web signup page and at the bottom of the page were two buttons. One was titled “Answer 14 More Questions” and the other “Just Create My Account.” I wondered if anyone has ever really thought sure, I’d love to answer 14 more questions.
On all of our web pages we spend time thinking through how to minimize the number of questions and actions required to get the information you need. You’ll never see a “Answer 14 More Questions” button from us.

There’s a good article in PC World written by Meredith Levinson of CIO.com: How To Be A Top Project Manager. Meredith enumerates some of the attributes that the best project managers share. The article is short and worth a quick read.
The money quote is:
“The more experienced project managers understand that if you don’t get the people side of project management, it doesn’t matter how good your methodology or your tools are,” says Kondo. “If you’re not managing your users, sponsor or stakeholders, you could deliver on budget, but you might not meet their needs, and they’ll say they’re not satisfied.”
This is at the heart of the SharedPlan approach to project management. We believe and our tools reflect the notion that broad communication amongst participants and sponsors is critical to the success of any project.

We’re in the process of updating all of our product documentation.
The Pro User Guide, Central Admin Guide and the Central User Guide are the first up and are available now.
We’re doing this in preparation of our announcement of some significant product changes. We think it will make SharedPlan available to a larger group of people – stay tuned for the announcement.
