Pro has recently been updated to revision 5.4.19. This latest maintenance release includes:

• fixes related to resource reporting system
• significant performance improvements in calculating the critical path in large projects
• a fix so that earlier and empty portions of the Gantt chart are not displayed
• a fix for exporting calendars to Outlook 2003.

Last summer we introduced our online Gantt chart project editor as the latest project management tool available through SharedPlan Central. At the time, we denoted it as beta. Today, we’re pleased to inform you that the project editor is no longer in beta.

But, some things don’t change: we always appreciate and value your feedback and we’re continuing to improve all of our products. Please let us know how our products can better suit your needs.

Last night we relased an update to Central (our online project planning and management suite) that improves the performance and robustness of the online project editor.

Thanks to our customers in Australia for helping to identify this issue.

We’ve just rolled out a Central update that improves access to Central services from an iPhone.

We’ve just rolled out a Central update. Central is our online project server and the improvements include:

• drag and drop task reordering in the online project editor (Gantt chart)
• support for issue deletion
• support for viewing subprojects in the project viewer.

We’ve just posted a new product introduction video as part of our product tour. In the coming days we’ll be updating the ancient Pro and Central videos that are there also.

We’re in the process of updating all of our product documentation. 

The Pro User Guide, Central Admin Guide and the Central User Guide are the first up and are available now.

We’re doing this in preparation of our announcement of some significant product changes. We think it will make SharedPlan available to a larger group of people – stay tuned for the announcement.
